On the evening of November 28, 2012, at the shield tunneling promotion meeting of the Chengdu Metro Project Department, the leadership team of the project department decided that the second shield machine would be assembled by its own crew, marking the official start of the first batch of shield tunneling crew members of the Chengdu Metro Project Department.
On November 29, 2011, all members of the project department's electromechanical department, led by the company's deputy chief engineer Xia Ling, began to be fully responsible for the assembly of our company's 53#CTE6250 shield machine. The company's deputy chief engineer Xia Ling and the project's deputy manager Yu Changjiang took turns to lead the team on site. During the assembly process, the site was in order. Through on-site operations, not only did the crew's business level increase, but also talents were cultivated for the project department and the company.
During the assembly of the second shield machine, the company's deputy chief engineer Xia Ling and the project's deputy manager Yu Changjiang supervised the work of the installers to prevent damage to the shield machine; on the other hand, they actively carried out technical exchanges with the installers, which not only accelerated the speed of assembly and commissioning, but also accumulated experience for future work.
The shield machine assembly process is complex and requires high standards for personnel and equipment configuration. The technical personnel strictly demanded themselves, and the Chengdu Metro Project Department successfully completed the shield machine assembly.
